Sparking Talent

SPARKING TALENT
The Competition for Young Critics and Filmmakers

Presented by TransLink Cine Sparks in association with ATOM QLD and the Department of Education and Training.

Eleven students will be chosen from around the State to participate in the following programmes:

Sparking Talent Junior Film Jury (Years 8 - 10)
Sparking Talent Senior Film Jury (Years 11 - 12)
Sparking Talent New Filmmakers Programme (Years 11 - 12)

The TransLink Cine Sparks Film Jury provides a voice for young Queensland film viewers, in recognition of the integral part juries play in major international film festivals. The two Juries will view films and, under the guidance of the TransLink Cine Sparks Education Officer, will award a film they feel has the most merit.

Students in the New Filmmakers Programme will view films, participate in production MasterClasses, and visit industry organisations.
