Classifications and Age Recommendations
The TransLink Cine Sparks programme is designed to give young people a window into the lives of people in other countries and cultures. Films screened at TransLink Cine Sparks are usually made by peoples from the cultures they reflect.
As most films have not been classified, TransLink Cine Sparks has provided content advice to assist parents and teachers to make informed choices about film selection.
For each film, the festival has provided advice consisting of an age recommendation and guidance as to any sensitive issues (such as language or adult themes) in the film. This advice has been determined in accordance with international festival practice and with the support of educational consultants.
